POSITION SUMMARY
The Technical Support Engineer provides IT support to clients, including hardware and software installation, server and storage management, troubleshooting, and back-office technical assistance. This role ensures smooth IT operations for clients and supports internal technical systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support client issues including installation of hardware and software (Windows OS)
- Basic understanding of servers, storage, switching, routing, and security products (Dell, HPE, Huawei, Lenovo, Cisco, Extreme, etc.)
- Troubleshoot small issues related to spare parts or hardware errors
- Provide internal back-office support (Network cards, RAM, HDDs, HBA, Power Supply, SFP Modules, etc.)
- Install operating systems (Windows Servers, Linux) and resolve technical issues
- Basic knowledge and support of Office365
- Assist with VMware and backup software support
- Work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to continuous improvement
REQUIRED SKILLS
- IT Certificates or equivalent
- Experience with Windows servers, Linux, and other operating systems
- Understanding of servers, storage, routing, switching, and security products
- 1–2 years of experience in IT support
- Reasonable and understandable English
- Experience working in IT companies is a plus
