Job Description
– Lead the food operation in the kitchen. You yourself also need to work on cooking side dishes and sushi etc.
– Maintains and improves food quality, cooking speed and timing
– Controls food cost, manages stock to minimize wastage, damaged goods and cancel food
– Support to find high quality of products and help to negotiate
– Improve the quality of the food which fulfills customers’ demand
– Other tasks assigned by direct manager.
Job Requirement
– Be interested in Japanese food industry and gain the experience in this field
– Working experience in kitchen operation or assisting chef in a restaurant
– Leadership skill
– Self motivated and willing to learn person
– Good English or Japanese skills
– Strong commitment to the work with high sense of responsibility
Priority
– Experience as a Sushi chef
– Experience of working at a restaurant especially at a Japanese high-end restaurant
– Working experience in restaurant for over 3 years.
– Japanese skill is highly welcome!
