POSITION SUMMARY
The Procurement Supervisor is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, sourcing reliable suppliers—especially from China—maintaining procurement accuracy, ensuring on-time delivery, and supporting the company’s operational needs through efficient procurement planning and execution.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage overall purchasing functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Develop, lead, and execute procurement activities.
- Source, manage, evaluate, and analyze suppliers to identify profitable options.
- Negotiate pricing and follow up with the team regularly.
- Prepare accurate procurement plans based on data and market conditions.
- Ensure all procurement requests are correctly completed.
- Verify purchased products/services match requester requirements.
- Maintain strong and sustainable relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Ensure all purchases follow company policies and procedures.
- Ensure on-time delivery of goods based on market demand.
- Keep company information strictly confidential.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related fields
- Minimum 2 years of purchasing or supply chain experience from China
- Knowledge of China-based materials and suppliers is preferred
- Good command of English and Chinese (spoken & written)
- Strong judgment, decision-making, and vendor-sourcing skills
- Knowledge of bidding, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving
- Computer literacy, especially MS Office, Excel; SAP is a plus
