Job Description
– Research global fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market insights to inform design direction.
– Create original footwear concepts through sketches, digital renderings, and tech packs.
– Select materials, colors, and components aligned with the brand’s identity and target market.
– Collaborate with product developers, material suppliers, and manufacturers throughout the design process.
– Ensure designs are aligned with cost targets, functional requirements, and brand standards.
– Review prototypes and adjust designs based on fit, comfort, and production feasibility.
– Stay updated on new technologies, sustainable practices, and innovations in footwear design.
– Participate in design reviews and present collections to internal teams and stakeholders.
– Assist in developing seasonal collections in coordination with marketing and merchandising teams.
Job Requirement
– Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Industrial Design, or related field (specialization in Footwear Design is a plus).
– 2+ years of experience in footwear or fashion/accessory design (sport shoes and flipflops is a plus)
– Male or female (male preferred)
– Chinese advance level and English Basic.
