Job Description
– Manage and maintain high-level long-term business relationships with existing customers and develop new business opportunities to expand the aftermarket sales & service in systems maintenance, retrofit, repair, and spare part business for pump and valve.
– Develop, maintain and update a comprehensive customer database for future engagement
– Maintain and update a complete inventory of equipment-related service operations and technical documents
– Attend promptly to enquiries and understand customers needs to fulfil their requirements.
– Select and recommend appropriate pumps, valves, spare parts, equipment, systems, and accessories based on customer requirements for various applications on-site
– Ensure smooth operations related to warranties within the organization or company.
– Receive, process, and review warranty claims from customers, verify their eligibility, and ensure their adherence to the company’s policies and guidelines.
– Correspond with factories, KSB companies and contractors / dealers for support; in relation with terms of price, technical support / service, and delivery.
– Utilise and update CRM (C4C) database on registered products to installed base and customer visits records.
– Ensure proper handover of purchase order (in terms of technical and commercial with supporting document / costing sheet) to Sales Team and Order Processing Team.
– Regularly report site status & progress, and customer feedback to the Service Manager/ Country Manager
– Prepare necessary documents, site visit reports and service reports for customer submission and approval
– Assist and handle all service repair order-related activities, arrangements, assignments, and clarifications issues by attending promptly to customers needs to fulfil their requirements
– Perform field maintenance on pumps, valves, and equipment
Support the installation, repair, maintenance, and commissioning works
– Be readily available, contactable, and responsible for promptly addressing and resolving customers on-site issues
– Assist Service Manager/ Country Manager in sourcing for potential service partners within Phnom Penh
– Support the service workshop activities with pump and valve repairs and servicing
– Contribute to maintaining the workshop in an environmentally safe and organized manner and ensure equipment & tools are well maintained
– Assist Sales & Application Engineers with rehabilitation projects by conducting site analysis with provision of visit reports
– Assist site operators with product maintenance and inventory management
– Perform field maintenance on pumps, valves, and equipment
– Support the installation, repair, maintenance, and commissioning works upon receiving official instructions with valid purchase orders from customers or from Service Manager / Country Manager
– Be readily available, contactable, and responsible for promptly addressing and resolving customers on-site issues
– Handle other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Service Manager/ Country Manager.
Job Requirements
– Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Water Environment, Fluid Mechanic, or related field) or equivalent
– Possess knowledge on laser or dial gauge alignment, is preferred
– Proven experience in engineering, or technical in a relevant industry, and working with foreigner boss
– Strong technical background and understanding of engineering principles and product applications
– Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills (Khmer and English)
– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
– Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-oriented mindset
– High commitment to delivering efficient results and dedication to fulfilling responsibilities
– Willingness to travel to customer sites for meetings, providing services, or installation
– Willingness to travel to provinces and abroad for meetings, presentations, service-provision, or to conduct training sessions
– Flexible, responsive, proactive, capable, available, contactable, and demonstrating a positive and professional work ethic during work hours.
