Job Description
– Meet with customers regularly to develop and maintain a comprehensive customer database for future engagement
– Hunt for new potential customers, identify and pursue new business opportunities
– Select and recommend appropriate pumps, valves, equipment, systems, and accessories based on customer requirements for various applications
– Validate on commercial and technical requirements before generating and submitting quotations to customers, and ensure timely follow-ups on all enquiries from new and existing customers until the quotation status is closed
– Attend promptly to customers needs to fulfil their requirements
– Liaise with end-users, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders on pricing and technical selections in line with tender specifications and requirements
– Generate costing sheets based on tender specifications and requirements within a given time frame, and ensure adherence to company’s gross margin guideline
– Be readily available, contactable, and responsible for promptly addressing and resolving customer inquiries regarding submitted quotations, pricing, and pumps and valves specifications
– Follow-up with clients on joint business and marketing activities status
– Assist the Sales Manager/ the Country Manager in languages translation, strategic planning, and business development to support sales growth and achieve company targets
– Ensure proper handover of purchase orders to the Order Processing Department, including all supporting documents and price calculations
– Update technical documents and price lists
– Ensure the validity of pumps and valves certification with relevant authorities and application / submission of renewal on yearly or bi-yearly basis, as applicable
– Coordinate with internal teams and international stakeholders to plan and execute business and marketing activities
– Support the development of marketing materials, activities, and event for the company
– Regularly report sales progress, project status, and customer feedback to the Sales Manager/ the Country Manager
– Handle other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Sales Manager/ the Country Manager.
Job Requirement
– Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Water Environment, Fluid Mechanic, or related field) or equivalent
– Proven experience in sales, engineering, or technical sales in a relevant industry
– Proven experience in working with foreigner boss
– Strong technical background and understanding of engineering principles and product applications
– Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills (Khmer and English)
– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
– Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-oriented mindset
– High commitment to delivering efficient results and dedication to fulfilling responsibilities
– Willingness to travel to customer sites for meetings, presentations, or providing services
– Willingness to travel to abroad for meetings, presentations, providing service, or conducting training programs
– Flexible, responsive, proactive, capable, available, contactable, and demonstrating a positive and professional work ethic during work hours.
