Senior Accounting and Tax (Chinese Speaker)

We are seeking a Senior Accounting and Tax Specialist (Chinese Speaker) to join a professional auditing and consulting firm in Phnom Penh.
This role involves preparing financial statements, managing tax filings, and communicating directly with clients—particularly Chinese companies.

The position also includes mentoring junior staff and coordinating projects, offering strong opportunities for career development toward managerial or advisory roles.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and file complex tax returns for clients.
• Compile and review financial statements and supporting documents.
• Review tax returns prepared by junior accountants.
• Handle tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax officers.
• Conduct tax research and stay updated on regulation changes.
• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records and reports.
• Advise on financial operations, costs, revenues, and projections.
• Establish and manage chart of accounts.
• Develop and document recordkeeping and accounting systems.
• Support other assigned duties and projects.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and tax.
• Chinese and English proficiency (good to advanced level, reading and writing).
• Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software.
• Camup IQ Test score of 7+.

Priority Skills:

• Strong understanding of accounting procedures and principles.
• Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closing.
• External audit experience is a plus.

• English: Good to Advanced
• Chinese: Good to Advanced

Working Conditions

• Working Days: Monday – Friday
• Working Hours: 8:00 – 17:30 (1-hour lunch break 12:00 – 13:00)
