POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Accounting & Tax role manages all key accounting functions, including daily transaction recording, invoice preparation, cash and bank handling, collections and payments, and preparing basic financial reports. This position also oversees monthly tax reports and payments, NSSF registration, reporting, and contribution payments. Additionally, the role supports audits, organizes accounting documents, and improves accounting operations for accuracy and efficiency.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record daily transactions in the accounting system
- Make and manage sales and purchase invoices
- Check invoices from clients and vendors
- Manage cash and bank in/out transactions
- Follow up on collection and payment schedules
- Prepare basic financial statements (balance sheet & income statement)
- Review and process employee expense claims
- Support internal and external audits
- Maintain proper organization of all accounting documents
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting accuracy and efficiency
- Handle monthly tax declarations and payments
- Manage NSSF registration, monthly reporting, and contribution payments
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related field
- More than 5 years’ experience in accounting and tax
- Good to advanced level of English
- Strong understanding of accounting procedures and workflows
- Good computer skills, especially Excel
- Stable employment history (not job hopper)
PRIORITY QUALIFICATIONS
- High IQ score (7/10) on Camup IQ Test
- Accounting & tax experience in a foreign construction company
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Good English, Advanced English
