Job Description
– Exceed sales goals through customer development and retention, regular sales calls, entertainment etc.
– Support the goals, objectives and philosophy of the ST World Group.
– Conduct restaurant site visits with prospective and existing partners as needed.
– Develop and implement new sales strategies, tactics, and action plans.
– Meetings with the head office, managers, or other partner companies like Hotels, Tour Operators, Tour Guides and travel agencies etc.
– Attend business association events and networking events as appropriate. Build better business relationships.
– Develop monthly action plans for key market segments.
– Review target design and monthly plans based on actual bookings and average rates.
– Monitor competitors’ rate strategies, account penetration, and marketing efforts to remain competitive.
– Conduct negotiations to achieve the best profit and rates for both sides.
– Attend hotel client events and local community business events and networking.
– Attend and contribute to daily sales meeting and report on activities, market trends and business leads
– Performs related duties and special projects assigned.
Job Requirement
– Minimum 3+ years experience in outdoor sales operations, related to preferably in corporate and tourism sales
– Ability to prioritize, organize work assignments and follow-up
– Ability to execute a multitude of tasks on a timely basis
– Ability to promote positive relationships with travel agency, hotel, and tour guides
– Ability to work independently without direct supervision as well as cohesively as a team
– Ability to be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems with good judgment
– Able to speak ENG at an Advanced level
– Able to work in Siem Reap for the long term
– Strong negotiation and supervising skills
– Trust worthy and will never cheat or allow it
– Computer literacy (Ms. Word and Excel, internet and Email).
Priority
– Bachelors Degree in Sales & Marketing/ Hospitality management
– Experience in launching new business and developing sales targets and new sales channels
– Have a strong and wide relationships and connections in Siem Reap
– Working experience in tourism and CS field is an advantage (Restaurant, Hotel, Travel Agency etc)
– Working experience with Japanese is a plus
– Able to work evening hours as needed.
