Position Details
Position Summary:
The Sales / Events & Catering Manager is responsible for generating revenue by selling the hotel’s event spaces, banquet facilities, and catering services. The role focuses on developing client relationships, securing new business opportunities, coordinating event requirements, and ensuring successful event execution while maintaining high service standards and achieving sales targets.

Job Requirements
Job Description:
-Sell hotel event spaces, meeting rooms, banquet facilities, and catering services.
-Identify and develop new business from corporate, government, NGOs, embassies, and private clients.
-Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts for events and catering services.
-Negotiate with clients and close sales to achieve revenue targets.
-Coordinate event details with banquet, kitchen, and operations teams.
-Conduct client meetings, site inspections, and event planning discussions.
-Upsell additional food, beverage, and event services.
-Manage and support the Events & Catering coordination team.
-Maintain client records and update sales information in the system.
-Prepare sales reports and attend internal meetings.
-Participate in external events and exhibitions to promote hotel services.
-Ensure all events follow hotel policies and service standards.

• 3-5 years of experience in Banquet/Events & Catering and related Food & Beverage Service industry.
• Ability to communicate in English with the guests.
• Computer literate.
• Good command in written and spoken English.
• A high School Diploma or equivalent.
• Computer skill (word, excel, power point, Email)
• MICROS System.
• Good Skills of Food and Beverage Service.
• Administrative of event report.
• Experience telephone sales with proven sales negotiation and closing skills.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language.
