Job Description
– Planning of measures to predict and prevent fabric/sewing quality problems in the product development stage
– Confirmation of the quality of mass-produced products (continuous confirmation that the products are produced with appropriate quality from pre-production to the end of production)
– On-site inspection at the factory and request for improvement and progress confirmation
– Investigation of the causes of quality defects, planning of countermeasures, and confirmation of the progress of improvements
– Report on the above to the Production Department at the head office (Japan) and linkage with the above.
Job Requirement
– Able to speak both English and Chinese at a good level
– Must be able to communicate well with all parties involved, including foreign nationals
– Strong will to carry out work and be able to take a leadership role as a team player.
– Ability to respond flexibly, proactively, and flexibly to urgent, unforeseen, and inexperienced tasks.
– Able to use PC basic skills (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Internet) without problems
– Minimum of 2 years Experience in QC in any sector
– Working experience in an international company, especially in a Chinese or Japanese one.
Priority
– Able to speak an advanced Chinese is a highly advantage
– Experience in import/export, customs clearance, etc. is a plus
– Experience of garment field (clothes, apparel, shoes, textiles, bags, gloves etc.)
– Working under a Japanese company and understanding well about the business culture and regulations.
