Job Description
1. Delivery Schedule Management (for contract factories)
– Manage schedules from the product development sample stage to mass production, shipping, and launch
– Confirmation of production capacity and production process LT before mass production
– Confirmation of daily production progress and whether there are any abnormalities in the progress
Reporting of the above to the Production Department at the head office (Japan) and linkage with it
2. Quality control (for contract factories)
– Planning of measures to predict and prevent fabric/sewing quality problems in the product development stage
– Confirmation of the quality of mass-produced products (continuous confirmation that the products are produced with appropriate quality from pre-production to the end of production)
– On-site inspection at the factory and request for improvement and progress confirmation
– Investigation of the causes of quality defects, planning of countermeasures, and confirmation of the progress of improvements
– Report on the above to the Production Department at the head office (Japan) and linkage with the above.
Job Requirement
– Able to speak English at an advanced level
– Must be able to communicate well with all parties involved, including foreign nationals
– Strong will to carry out work and be able to take a leadership role as a team player.
– Ability to respond flexibly, proactively, and flexibly to urgent, unforeseen, and inexperienced tasks.
– Able to use PC basic skills (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Internet) without problems
– Bachelor’s degree
– Minimum of 2 years Experience in Garment related sector as supervisor or higher level
– Working experience in an international company, especially in a Japanese one.
Priority
– Able to speak Japanese or Chinese is an advantage
– Experience of garment production/quality control in a Japanese company .
