Position Summary
The Production Management role is responsible for overseeing garment production management and quality control at partner factories. This position involves frequent factory visits to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met, while coordinating closely with teams in Cambodia and Shanghai.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections at partner factories and provide corrective guidance
- Review audit reports in Japanese and Chinese and follow up on improvement actions
- Visit factories to monitor production progress, schedules, and quality standards
- Check production samples and provide feedback on quality or technical issues
- Support productivity improvement and manufacturing process optimization
- Coordinate shipments and ensure on-time delivery
- Report production and quality status to management in Cambodia and Shanghai
- Perform other tasks assigned by head office
Job Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Experience in production control and quality control within garment or inspection companies
- Good to advanced Chinese language skills (HSK 4 or above, reading & writing required)
- Good English communication skills
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic office software
- Willingness to travel regularly to partner factories (mainly around Phnom Penh)
Preferred Qualifications
- Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N2 or N1)
- Experience working with Japanese companies
