Job Description
1. Production & Quality Control:
– Prepare and assemble mille crepe cakes with precision and consistency.
– Ensure all cakes meet the shops premium quality standards for taste and presentation.
– Maintain detailed records of production processes and ingredient usage.
2. Recipe Development:
– Create new and innovative mille crepe cake flavors, fillings, and toppings.
– Experiment with unique flavor combinations to keep the menu exciting.
3. Kitchen Management:
– Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they understand proper techniques for crepe preparation, layering, and decoration.
– Develop an efficient schedule, delegate tasks, and monitor daily operations to meet production targets.
– Monitor and maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization.
4. Inventory & Cost Control:
– Track inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, ensuring timely restocking.
– Work with store supervisor to control costs while maintaining premium quality.
– Reduce wastage and optimize ingredient use.
5. Team Leadership:
– Act as a mentor to kitchen assistants, fostering growth and skill development.
– Address kitchen challenges, such as troubleshooting mistakes or refining workflow.
– Ensure a positive and collaborative work environment.
Job Requirements
– Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a bakery or dessert shop.
– Expertise in making mille crepe cakes or willingness to learn and perfect the technique.
– Strong knowledge of pastry preparation, techniques, and flavor pairings.
– Leadership skills to manage, train, and inspire the kitchen team.
– Strong organizational skills and time management to meet production schedules.
