Position Summary

The Operation Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of ticketing sales and distribution for travel-related services such as flights, tours, attractions, and events. This role ensures smooth daily operations, optimal ticket inventory management, and the implementation of effective ticketing and sales strategies.

Working Conditions

  • Working Time: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Working Days: Monday – Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end ticketing operations, including ticket sales and distribution
  • Schedule flights based on client needs and flight availability
  • Communicate with clients regarding ticket details, pricing, and flight schedules
  • Explain airline and airport rules, procedures, fees, and taxes to passengers
  • Handle ticket refunds, exchanges, reissues, and reservation error cases
  • Develop and execute strategies to optimize ticket sales and manage inventory
  • Negotiate fares, contracts, and commissions with airlines and travel partners
  • Coordinate with airlines, hotels, travel partners, and internal teams
  • Manage, mentor, and support ticketing staff to ensure efficient operations
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and prepare operational reports
  • Implement quality control measures and continuous process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with airline regulations, industry standards, and company policies

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in travel or ticketing operations
  • Certified and experienced in ticketing systems such as IATA, Amadeus, or Sabre (GDS)
  • Strong knowledge of airline ticketing rules, fare calculations, refunds, and reissues
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Mature mindset with strong teamwork and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities

Language Requirement

  • Advanced English
