Job Description:
– Gather and analyze detailed market information to support product selection and purchasing decisions.
– Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their competitiveness and reliability.
2. Compliance
– Ensure all purchasing transactions are transparent and compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
– Verify supplier documents and licenses to ensure compliance (e.g., copyrights, sales licenses).
– Assess the branding and marketing impact of each product.
– Maintain proper documentation and records for all purchasing activities.
3. Purchasing Management
– Participate in supplier negotiations and support administrative tasks related to purchasing. – Prepare regular purchasing reports and updates for product meetings.
– Coordinate and communicate with suppliers to ensure smooth operations, invoices, and account setup.
– Collaborate with store operations teams to understand product performance and its impact on sales.
– Perform other duties assigned by the General Manager.
Required Skills:
– At least 3 years of experience in Retail purchasing, merchandising, or Floor Manager, Marketing.
– Experience in Household goods, Home Electronics, Furniture, Leisure products (e.g., suitcases), and Home Improvement & Interior.
