Job Description
1. Development of marketing activities rooted in the local market
– Aggressive marketing activities and information gathering will be undertaken to increase awareness of the Company’s brand and market presence in Cambodia.
2. Support for local agents
– Property delivery support and training. Also, by understanding needs from a perspective close to the market, implement effective sales promotion measures and proposals for products that match the market, in cooperation with distributors.
– Attendance at regular project meetings at distributors
– Sharing project information to both distributors
– Follow up on project progress shared among distributors
– Visit project customers with distributors
– Liaise with distributors and customers as needed
3. Cooperative sales activities
– Conduct proactive collaborative sales activities across elevators, escalators and air-conditioning at properties.
– Strengthen relationships with major foreign and local developers, consultants, and contractors
– Enclosure of customers by utilizing the networks of three air conditioning distributors and an elevator and escalator sales company
– Tie-up promotional activities with multiple distributors, such as joint product seminars inviting customers of distributors’ customers
– Creation of cross-sales product catalogs
3. Accumulation of region-specific know-how and provision of information
– Accumulate regional know-how on political and economic trends, laws and regulations, country risks, etc., as well as region-specific business know-how, and provide information to the relevant business divisions of the Company.
– Attend regular monthly meetings with MEAP’s air conditioning export department
4. Advertising and brand promotion including CSR activities
– Review and implement appropriate advertising and promotional activities that contribute to raising awareness of the MELCO brand (e.g., street advertising, etc.)
– Promote and implement CSR activities.
Job Requirement
– Advanced or Business level of English skill
– Marketing research, business development experience
– Working experience in an international company working under foreign managers
– Good at communication, easy going and full commitment personality
– Able to visit the province for the market research
– Not be hesitate to go out and do market research
– Working experience at least 3 years in an International company
– Willing to learn and research new knowledge by oneself proactively.
Priority
– Experience in businesses related to elevators and air conditioning is highly welcome
– Products they handle: Hand dryers in toilets, air conditioners in commercial and private buildings, lifts, automatic machinery in factories, etc.
– Distributor management experience (e.g. Smart Aircon, Alpha Air, E paradise etc.)
– Experience in sales promotion activities involving new business development and market research
– Work experience as an outdoor sales position
– Additional Chinese skill is an advantage.
