Position Overview
A Japanese automotive company is planning to enter the Cambodian market and has commissioned a consulting firm to conduct a detailed market research study.
This role involves collecting and analyzing data related to motorbikes, automobiles (new and used), credit cards, mobile loans, and personal loans. The work is fully remote, primarily focused on cold-call surveys, online data research, and report compilation.
This is a 2-month contract position (with the possibility of extension), ideal for candidates experienced in market research or competitive analysis—especially within the automotive or financial industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on motorbike, automobile, and financial service markets (credit cards, mobile loans, personal loans).
- Perform cold-call surveys and collect relevant statistical data.
- Summarize and report research findings to the Japanese supervisor.
- Prepare supporting documentation and presentations using MS Office (especially Excel).
- Assist the Japanese project supervisor and other executives during meetings.
- Participate in regular progress meetings and ensure timely project updates.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Market Research in Cambodia.
- Proficient in English (Advanced Level) for communication and reporting.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
- Must be available to attend online meetings.
- Intelligent, analytical mindset (preferably scoring above 6 points in CamUp IQ test).
Priority Qualifications
- Experience working with foreign companies or multinational clients.
- Side jobs are allowed during this project.
