Job Description
This position is responsible for managing company litigations, arbitration, and other dispute resolutions proceeding, and extensive knowledge of life insurance policies and endorsements is essential.
– Continuously review, monitor, and understand application flows and behaviors to detect trends of non-compliance in the life insurance industry.
– Proactively work with law enforcement and government agencies and maintain sound relationships with external parties as appropriate.
– Take appropriate precautionary measures based on findings to effectively protect the company from foreseeable or potential losses.
– Advising and assisting Chief management on insurance company structure, coverage, and operations
– Conduct legal and compliance trainings for employees and others to enhance their compliance mind
– Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control
– Develop and apply risk management techniques and advice for potential legal issues.
– Advise all the legal matters of the company and provide legal advises as requested.
Job Requirement
– Around 5 years of experience in financial sector, especially in the field of compliance and/or fraud investigation and/or Audit
– Advanced knowledge of legal framework and financial sector
– Able to communicate and express own-self in English at advanced
– Bachelors degree in Law. (Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or any relevant degrees.)
– Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
– Strong knowledge in the Cambodia Labor Law and other related rules.
