Position Summary:
As a Supervisor at Azumaya Japanese Hotel, you are the bridge between management and the operational staff. You will oversee a team of 20 members across the Kitchen and Housekeeping departments. Your role is to ensure the “Japanese Standard” of cleanliness, food quality, and guest hospitality is maintained at all times.
Job Description:
1. Kitchen & F&B Operations
- Inventory & Supply Management: Oversee daily kitchen stock and place orders for fresh ingredients. Ensure all supplies meet quality standards.
- Food Quality Control: Conduct daily taste checks and monitor food preparation to ensure compliance with recipes and hotel standards.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain kitchen cleanliness, proper food storage , and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Cost & Waste Control: Monitor kitchen expenses, manage food costs, and prevent wastage through efficient stock control.
- Menu & Buffet Oversight: Collaborate with the Head Chef to introduce new menu items and ensure buffet rotation follows scheduled standards.
- Reporting: Prepare daily kitchen and breakfast consumption reports, as well as monthly inventory summaries for management.
2. Housekeeping & Facility Management
- Quality Inspections: Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness meets company standards.
- Supplies Management: Track and maintain inventory of linens, towels, and guest amenities. Coordinate procurement of essential supplies.
- Team Supervision & Training: Lead housekeeping staff, monitor performance, provide coaching, and address issues promptly.
- Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report damages or maintenance needs to ensure guest satisfaction.
Required Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in hotel or related field (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Language: Good English (speaking and understanding).
- Age: No age limit.
- Gender: Male or Female.
- Education: High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree.
