Position Summary
We are seeking motivated Internal Audit Officers to assist in evaluating and improving financial and operational processes. The role involves supporting audits, analyzing reports and documentation, and recommending improvements to ensure compliance, efficiency, and risk mitigation. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in internal auditing within the real estate sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Finance Manager and General Manager.
- Assist in determining the scope of internal audits and developing annual audit plans.
- Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation, reports, and data.
- Prepare and present reports reflecting audit results and document processes.
- Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and goal achievement.
- Identify process loopholes and recommend risk mitigation and cost-saving measures.
- Document processes and prepare audit findings memoranda.
- Engage in continuous learning regarding sector rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.
Requirements
- Student or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Banking.
- Basic knowledge of internal auditing or willingness to research and learn independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, QuickBooks).
- Reading and writing skills in English (speaking skills less critical as work is mainly with locals).
- Eager to learn and train under experienced professionals.
