Job Description
You work as a Risk Surveyor for general insurance products. You will undertake commercial and personal surveys and prepare and present reports for insurance underwriters and provide advice on improvements that can be made to reduce the risk of future insurance claims.
– Check building plans and fire protection systems
– Prepare risk reports and recommendations for underwriters
– Advise clients on how to reduce the risk of future insurance claims
– Visit sites alone or with underwriters and work closely with safety inspectors and fire officers
– Keep up to date with technical issues affecting risk, like hazardous materials
– Collecting photographs as evidence
– Performs any others duties as assigned by Manager
– Report daily activities and monthly result to the manager
Job Requirement
– Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical or Water Resource Engineering
– Advanced command of English for business communication
– At least 1~2 years of relevant fields
– Strong negotiating skill and time management skill
– Advanced IT skill
– Good communication skill to explain complex ideas to people from a variety of backgrounds
– Understanding the claims roles & promoting the better services for the targets clients
– Able to visit sites alone or with underwriters
Priority
– Able to use Chinese for 4 commands (speaking, listening, writing and reading)
– Experience in General Insurance company (not Life Insurance)
– Working experience in an international company especially under a Chinese manager
