Job Description
– Response on Import Tax Exemption for Japanese Government Grant Aid Projects
– Request quotations from overseas suppliers, issue POs, and perform related import transactions.
– VA/VE activities/productivity improvement/buying method improvement
– Supplier credit management/supply chain construction/supplier strategy
– Processing of ocean and air import shipments
– Review subcontractors and resolve outstanding issues
– Cooperate and negotiate with customs officials as customs clearance services and preparing customs clearance documents and facilitating import procedures
– Negotiate with customs officials, especially when problems arise regarding approval of import products.
– Monitor that the transport is being processed normally.
– Report to manager.
Job Requirement
– Any academic background (to be determined at the interview)
– Able to use Microsoft Office without any problem especially Excel
– Experience working for a logistics industry or related positions
– Experience in international trade, especially sea and air imports from abroad
– At least good skills in English for communication / can lead and understand the guidance
– Experience working in foreign companies especially Japanese, European or Korean ones
– Responsible, Flexible and self motivated។
Priority
– Experience in import customs clearance for projects that are import tax exempt preferred
– Have a brokerage license preferred
– Extensive knowledge of importing logistics
– Experience working for a Japanese construction company in the same industry
– Bachelor’s degree.
