Job Description
– Correspondence with relevant authorities (MME, EAC, EDC, etc.).
– For regular reporting to authorities
– Preparation for Tariff Report
– Review of finance, accounting and taxation in Cambodia.
– Monthly bookkeeping, tax filing, audit for tax, accounting.
– Resolve conflicts and disputes with local communities in the area.
– Communication with Japanese stakeholders.
– Preparation for quarterly report, meetings with Japanese stakeholders.
Job Requirement
– Min. Bachelor’s degree and above with at least 1 year of relevant work experience in similar roles.
– Strong knowledge in Finance, Accounting, Taxation enough to liaise with the government, MME, Auditors etc
– Well-versed in Cambodian business practices.
– English is essential for efficient communication with external stakeholders.
– Khmer is required to communicate with the local staff in Cambodia.
– Able to work flexibly and visit Prey Veng sometimes.
Priority
– High level of integrity and strong ethical standards.
– Working experience in electric company
– Experience in dealing with rigorous audits, explaining the business to tax officials who do not understand the business, etc., and be able to do it well
– Strong ability to work with MME and negotiate with the Department of Energy
– Understanding of power distribution systems, electrical engineering, and network management.
