POSITION SUMMARY
As a Customer Service Staff, you will perform all aspects of service operations at our restaurant. If you are cheerful, friendly, and passionate about Japanese food culture, we welcome you to apply—even if you have limited experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and maintain restaurant tables with cleanliness and order.
- Greet and attend to customers promptly upon arrival.
- Present menus and assist guests with food and beverage selections.
- Take and serve orders accurately and efficiently.
- Answer customer inquiries and make menu recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with the Service Manager and kitchen staff.
- Handle customer complaints positively and professionally.
- Issue bills and process payments.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Service Manager or Head Chef.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Female candidates preferred.
- High school diploma required.
- Hands-on experience with cashier duties.
- Excellent people skills with a friendly, responsible, and trustworthy attitude.
- Good proficiency in Chinese OR English.
- Experience in customer service, sales, or outgoing roles.
- Strong interest in the Food & Beverage industry, especially Japanese cuisine.
- Good reporting skills.
PRIORITY QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–3 years’ experience in a customer service role.
- Willingness to work on holidays, weekends, and occasional overtime (less than 1 hour).
- Knowledge of Sake is an advantage.
- Ability to use both Japanese and English (N3 level or higher).
- Work experience in a Japanese restaurant or under Japanese management.
