Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead operations for a leading Healthcare division. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in pharmaceutical product distribution for prescription-based medicine. This role requires strong leadership, strategic execution, and the ability to drive operational excellence across Phnom Penh and provincial markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations including sales, procurement, storage, warehousing, logistics, and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company objectives and market demands.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to ensure productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Strengthen partnerships with principals, government bodies, and healthcare institutions.
  • Ensure compliance with Cambodian pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Drive commercial performance by identifying growth opportunities and optimizing operations.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Regulatory Affairs, and Operations to meet business goals.
  • Implement KPIs and performance tracking systems.
  • Manage inventory effectively to minimize wastage or expiry losses.
  • Support new product launches and market expansion projects.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5–6 years in pharmaceutical distribution with proven leadership exposure.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

  • Skills:

  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical sales in Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Urology, OTC, Neurology, and Diabetology.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and market dynamics in Cambodia or Southeast Asia.
  • Proven sales and business growth record.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and project management capabilities.
  • Strategic mindset with strong execution focus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Languages

  • Good English communication (Advanced preferred)
