Job Description
– Carries out field works of market researches and customer census and classification (CCC) to structurally evaluate customer needs and identify selling possibilities to tourism operators, companies and agencies
– Prepares and implements sales call and customer visit plan to build better market understanding, strengthen trade relationship, update market intelligence, implement instore merchandising and display, carryout sales and instore promotional activities; and compliance audit on tourism operators’, tourism companies’ and agencies’ selling-out terms and conditions to consumer/traveler.
– Initiates sales process by scheduling appointments, making initial presentations, contracting, customer training to the last step of closing and connecting customer to service centers. Acts as a link between the customers and the internal teams.
– Generate Sales Leads from tourism operators, tourism companies and travel agencies for reselling company’s services and products to travelers and holidaymakers
– Actively seek out new sales opportunities; Identify new potential customers, Set up ideal prospecting strategies and reach monthly sales target
– Monitors and provides market information, competitor activities and performance reports to ensure that the Manager | Channel Sales and relevant team members are fully informed at all times and take appropriate response actions on a timely basis.
– Participates in preparing the sales plan with the Manager | Channel Sales, ensuring alignments to existing and revised customer trading agreements, policies and practices.
– Participates in implementation of promotional events, trade shows, fares, conferences and other community events to build brand presence and customer acquisition through partnership and sponsorship.
– Participate in the development of POS, In-store merchandising, giveaway items and communication materials to increase brand exposure and enhance imagery in the channel.
– Builds long term relationships with tourism operators, tourism companies and agencies in order to gain high levels of support and loyalty whilst enhancing understanding of the business environment and industry dynamics.
– Collaborates with relevant stakeholders in ensuring accurate representation of the company and maintaining a high level of business integrity and ensuring compliance with legislation and internal policy.
– Keeps abreast of changes in the industry inclusive of legislations, regulations and ensures that all Sales transactions in the responsible areas are in legal compliance.
Job Requirement
Education:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, preferably in Marketing.
– The equivalent of the same in practical experience is also acceptable.
Experience:
– At least 1 years of working experience in relevant fields
The candidate will also be better suited with experience in the travel industry.
MS Office and Software:
– Possess good computer skill, being proficient in Digital Social Apps, Ms. Excel, Ms. Outlook, and PowerPoint, which will all be necessary for the effective performance of the creation of reports, proposals and recommendations.
