Position Summary

The Business Development Manager will drive new business growth and commercialize new programs and opportunities. This role focuses on identifying new markets and customers, analyzing business and sales data, developing action plans, and supporting sales target achievement. The ideal candidate has strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Working Conditions

  • Working Days: Monday – Friday

Key Responsibilities

1. Driving New Business Development

  • Identify, assess, develop, and manage new programs and business opportunities leading to successful commercialization
  • Work with prospective customers to identify unmet needs and implement initiatives to meet them
  • Responsible for profitable business growth
  • Conduct opportunity analysis and develop/execute business development plans
  • Identify and evaluate new prospects for consideration that fit within the company’s vision and capabilities
  • Explore opportunities by leveraging existing technologies for new or existing customers

2. Business and Sales Data Analysis

  • Use business analysis tools to map potential opportunities and implement solid action plans
  • Regularly analyze customer data, rebates, new program ROI, and sales forecasts
  • Design ad-hoc reports to support sales initiatives

3. Sales Target Support

  • Assist in sales target formulation and review
  • Manage the Sales Target Achievement measurement process (SIP) and handle relevant inquiries

4. Ad-hoc Project Support

  • Review and understand systems to provide input for improvements
  • Enable detailed analysis at the program level to support Sales Teams

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in business development, sales, product management, marketing, or related roles
  • Background in apparel & footwear industries is an advantage
  • Proficient in assessing customer needs and converting them into business opportunities
  • Strong negotiation, financial, and business acumen skills
  • Skilled in market and territory analysis and planning
  • Ability to present data logically and concisely
  • Skilled in project/process management and meeting facilitation
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed, multicultural organization
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Google Apps
  • Language proficiency: English + Chinese (speaking)

Language Requirements

  • English: Good to Advanced
  • Chinese: Good to Advanced

Benefits & Allowances

  • Monthly car allowance: $450
  • Monthly phone allowance: $60
  • Bio-language allowance: $80–$120 (based on test result)
  • Insurance: NSSF + Forte
  • 13th Month Salary
  • Quarterly Incentives if sales targets are met
