POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Brokerage Staff to handle import/export documentation, customs clearance, and related trade compliance tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of supporting both brokerage and warehouse operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and process import/export documentation according to customs regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws to prevent delays and penalties.
- Classify goods according to the Harmonized System (HS) and determine duty rates.
- Facilitate the clearance of goods through customs by coordinating with customs officials.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of customs entries and documents.
- Monitor shipment status and communicate updates to clients.
- Calculate import duties, taxes, and other charges accurately.
- Advise clients on potential costs and savings related to customs duties and taxes.
- Advise stakeholders on tariff classifications, duty drawbacks, and preferential trade agreements.
- Assist clients in understanding and benefiting from trade agreements and special trade programs.
- Back up team members in warehouse and brokerage tasks as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience in customs clearance preferred (sea & air via PNH, SIH, and airport).
- Available to work on holidays or overtime.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Good oral and written English.
- Friendly, flexible, honest, and able to work under pressure.
- Willing to learn and take on challenges.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Working Days: Monday – Friday, Saturday (half-day)
- Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
