Job Description
– Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure that the garage is operating
– Recruit and train Service Managers, Office Managers, and Sales/Finance Managers to meet profit levels
– Attend manager meetings and build good working relationships with owners, managers, and dealership staff to establish sales processes
– Maintain inventories that meet the needs of the local market while also managing profit and loss to meet the sales goals
– Reviewing financial reports, such as sales figures and inventory turnover rates, to assess the performance of the dealership
– Communicating with vendors to negotiate prices on new vehicles, parts, and services.
Job Requirement
– Working experience in technical field (especially automotive maintenance factories)
– Self-starter and willingness to learn and develop
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Good Japanese skill in written, spoken (higher than N3) or advanced level in English
– Strong managing and leadership skills
– Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software as needed to make reports.
Priority
– Bachelor’s Degree in Japanese language or Technical/Maintenance field
– Ability to identify issues and to determine repairs that are needed
– Able to read, write, and speak English as well as Japanese
– Working experience in Automotive company in Japan
– Master/Bachelor’s degree from university in Japan
