Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Air Export & Import Customer Service Manager responsible for overseeing and optimizing all customer service operations related to air freight forwarding. The role focuses on operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business growth through strong process management and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Operations Management

  • Oversee daily air export/import customer service activities to meet company and client requirements.
  • Review and improve SOPs, eliminate unnecessary processes, and utilize systems to enhance efficiency.
  • Assign and monitor work among team members, ensuring productivity and accuracy.
  1. Team Leadership

  • Coach and develop team members through training and performance evaluations.
  • Motivate and align staff with company strategies and growth objectives.
  • Organize team roles, monitor performance, and foster professional growth.
  1. Financial & Performance Control

  • Manage customer invoicing, vendor cost control, and financial accuracy.
  • Review weekly and monthly reports (PLS, KPI, and profit/loss).
  • Conduct data analysis and implement corrective actions as needed.
  1. Customer & Business Development

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers while supporting new business opportunities.
  • Prepare quotations, tenders, and competitive bidding rates.
  • Collaborate with regional headquarters (RHQ/GHQ) to meet sales targets and tonnage goals.
  1. Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with company regulations and safety standards.
  • Prepare monthly KPI and performance reports.
  • Manage internal documentation and coordinate SOP updates with related departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in air freight import/export operations.
  • Strong English communication skills (Good to Advanced).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Email).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and management skills.
  • Minimum score of 7/10 on the Camup IQ Test.

Priority:

  • Experience working in a foreign company (especially Japanese).
  • Interest in logistics and working in an international environment.
