Job Description
The Accounting Manager will plan and direct the accounting activities of the department including managing and recruiting accounting staff, conducting performance evaluations, and training needs for existing/new staff.
– Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and is involved in budget preparation.
– Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
– Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year; files annual corporate tax return.
– Audits accounts to ensure compliance with governmental regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the Annual External Audit.
– Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
– Ensures compliance with local and governmental requirements.
– Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Job Requirement
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or taxation
– Advanced-level in English- Excellent management, supervisory, organizational and time management skills
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Accounting software etc,.
– Around 8 years or more of related experience including supervisor or above position
– Working in an international company under a foreign manager.
Priority
– Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
– Diploma in Cambodia tax
– Working experience in a Japanese company and understands Japanese business manner.
