JOB DESCRIPTION
– Support the Chief Risk Officer in the evolution and management of institution Risk Management Program and Model Risk Management Program.
– Assist in the enterprise risk management strategy that safeguards the institution, customers, investors and reputation.
– Proactively manages and advises the institution on potential risks, assure objectives are achieved and disciplines are implemented to drive continuous improvement.
– Develop reporting to executive management and the Board Risk & Compliance committee regarding risk management policies, processes and execution.
– Develop and implement changes as needed to minimize risks as well as improve internal and external risk characteristics across all business lines.
– Provide support and training to build awareness within the institution, achieve growth targets and to protect the institution from future exposure.
– Evaluate risk events and/or propose mitigation plans to more senior levels, when appropriate.
– Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to develop process efficiencies
JOB REQUIREMENT
– Bachelor in Math, Economics, Accounting, or Finance or other relevance
– At least 2-3 years experiences working in BFIs
has knowledge and understand risk management for MFI
– Be able to lead, initiative and implementation of risk management process
– Be able to work independently, under pressure and multi working culture
– Process improvement and technology skills, a plus
– Excellent interpersonal skills
– Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
– Must be able to work independently and set goals/prioritize, focus, and have time management skills
