Orchid Koh Pich Hospital is urgently looking for Laboratory Technician.
Lab Technician: is responsible for receiving, testing, analyzing, recording and reporting results of their tests.
Key Responsibilities:
– Receiving, labeling and safely storing samples to be tested
– Determining and performing tests needed for the analysis and report
– Recording tests and analyzes and then reporting the results
– Discussing and answering any questions regarding the results
– Organizing and storing samples in accordance with all safety and other requirements to ensure the safety of personnel and integrity of the sample
– Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment
– Maintaining equipment records and daily work logs
– Handling blood supply in stock
– Perform other tasks assigned by the line manager
Qualifications:
– Bachelor degree in Laboratory,
– 1-2 years’ experience of being a lab technician,
– Experience in health care or hospital, and client database is highly desired,
Skills and Experience:
– Must pay close attention to details
– Ability to work carefully and accurately with medicines and doses
– Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
– Good IT skills for recording and input information
– Empathetic, passionate and calm under pressure
– Ability to evaluate situations and make decisions promptly,
– Resourceful and able to work independently in a team environment,
