Job Description
– This position is responsible to provide unbiased advice, perspective, and judgment to the board of directors. They’re also responsible for evaluating the strength of their board, especially monitoring conflicts of interest and complying with corporate governance guidelines.
– Check and balance to the power of the CEO, management, and other stakeholders with the governance
– Monitor the relationship between the Chair and the Chief Executive, to ensure that it is a well-functioning working relationship
– Ensuring sufficient contact with shareholders and stakeholders, to understand their issues and concerns
– Never committed any act which may lead to suspicious on his/her capability in holding the position of Director
– Participate in the Board of Directors meeting of the insurance company at least 75% in a year, and if absence, shall have an approval from the Ministry of Economic and Finance;
– Never use the activities or the decision of the Board of Directors or the Management of the insurance company which may damage the benefit of the insurance company and damage to the benefit of the users.
Job Requirement
– Enough experience with government sector or any bank, MFI, insurance sector
– Languages Required: Professional proficiency in English
– Bachelors Degree in financial field
– Strong interpersonal skills, time management and motivational
– Retired senior person from financial institution (NOT work/involve with government sector or any bank, MFI, insurance and hold any position which seem to influent any conflict of interest
– Be able to carry out the tasks and take responsibility for the job and the positions
– Be honest, respectful and well-organized
