Job Description

You will work as the Head of Marketing and Communications of a commercial bank. You will manage and direct all customer communication channels to raise bank’s presence, reputation and brand value. Also required to contribute to the sales activities.

– Define strategic marketing plans, Develop the Bank’s Communication policies & procedures, Sales Promotion Strategy, Sales activation and be responsible for its execution.
Designing branding, positioning, and pricing strategies
– Design the customer service package, client loyalty program, customer care, and client retention program
– Ensure a good communication of the Bank’s positioning and brand values to all stakeholders, current and potential, internal and external, including staff, clients, investors, regulators, the microfinance community, banking sector, cooperation partners, and others
Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness including the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
– Lead and design the communication and promotional materials including, Facebook, web page, media, leaflet, brochure, newsletter, investment teaser, company profile, annual report, marketing materials, digitalization, advertising, creative project and other promotional tools, etc.
– Track trends and monitor competition and initiate the marketing activities to maintain, react and expand the market share of the Bank
– Prepare and manage marketing budgets and calculate the Return of investment of the company’s actions
– Lead the research team to identify the product feature, market needs, new marketing tools and propose new products and services design to suit the current and future customer needs
– Identify potential business collaboration partners and coordinate efforts with those of marketing partners of the company
– Propose and draft PR article to boost brand awareness in the public
– Work with media team/agency to ensure that there no negative impact on the brand
– Other responsibilities related to the position.

Job Requirement

– Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Marketing or related fields
– At least 5 years of Marketing and Public Relations work.
– Experience in management position
– Creative character. Not just a follower of the boss but able to provide new proposals which are made by creative insight of yourself.
– Excellent writing and oral communication and presentation skills, both in Khmer and English
– Computer literacy: knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential
– Advanced knowledge in digital marketing, Social media marketing
– Good interpersonal skill, High integrity and positive attitude
– Strong analytical skill
– Able to multitask within tight deadlines, ready to work occasionally overtime and to travel to the provinces


– Marketing/Public Relations experience in microfinance or bank is a plus
– Digital, knowledge of design software is a plus
– Have worked in an international company under a foreigner boss
– Not a job hopper. At least 3 years of consistent work length in previous companies is preferred
