Job Description

<Position Summary>
You will be the store sub manager of the new retail shop from Japan. You are expected to manage the sales work of a large shop over 1,000 sqm supporting the store manager.

– Manage the shop daily operation cooperating with the Store Manager and maximize its generating profit.
– Plan and execute promotions cooperating with the Store Manager.
– Visual merchandising. Set up the shop displays in attractive ways to gets more shoppers attention. You are required to control the shop staff for this work.
– Share the new products info and its sales instruction with the sales staff.
– Monitor daily staff operation and make sure the quality is sufficient to satisfy customers.
– Greeting and casher works if needed
– Analyze the popular products and share the info with the purchasing department for better procurement.
– Make Purchasing order to the purchasing department.
– Report the daily/weekly/monthly sales information to the Japanese Director.

Job Requirement

– Good level of English for daily communication
– Able to work independently
– Experience in retail business at least for 3 years
– Very good communication skill that attract staff and customers
– High discipline in following company procedures and policies.

Priority

– Have worked under a foreigner boss
– Experience in foreign based retail shops such as Aeon group, Makro, Global house, Super Duper, etc.
– Experience in store management
– Not a job hopper. At least 3 years of consistent work length in previous companies is preferred.
