Job Description

– The CEO will be in charge of setting up the company’s strategic direction, managing day-to-day operations of the company, and ensuring that all departments will act with the highest efficiency and quality. The company works on an ethos of social business, aligning both financial and social targets to its operations and internal
management.

: Governance and Leadership
– Work with the BoD (Board of Directors) in setting-up the company’s strategic direction and articulate the company’s future milestone.
– Oversee annual business plan (narrative and financial) preparation, in line with the strategic direction, for validation by the BoD.
– Ensure the accuracy and completeness of information reported, presenting these via quarterly and annual reports to BoD, and through an open communication channel to raise concerns as they present themselves.
– Ensure that the organization, structure, and human resources are aligned to the needs of the business.

: Market Development
– In line with the company’s set strategy, lead on market studies to explore new products and opportunities.
– Approve term sheets to pilot and then put products to markets.
– Explore new partnerships and distribution channels.

: Sales Management
– Oversee sales performance from promotional campaigns to marketing material development.
– Drive sales targets and ensure alignment to these, driving the company towards sustainability and profitability, as set in the approved business plans.
– Ensure quality of services provided for client retention and to safeguard the reputation of the company in the market.

: Risk and Compliance
– Ensure compliance to all regulatory frameworks as they evolve.
– Liaise and build effective relationships with the regulator and other public stakeholders.
– Improve the internal controls system to ensure they are comprehensive and effective as regards operational policies, procedures, guidelines and forms and other reporting and monitoring tools.
– Ensure adequate monitoring of the levels of risk related to micro-insurance and ensure effectiveness and efficiency of operational risk management.

: Financial Oversight
– Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions, and the implementation of effective checks and balances for error / fraud risk mitigation.

Job Requirement

– BA/MBA in Accounting, Banking/Finance, Business Management or other related fields
– At least 2 years experience holding management position in insurance industry.
– Have experience in executive role and dealing with regulators
– Have experience with global / international companies
– Have experience in sales and business development
– General knowledge of primary business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, sale etc.)
– Excellent communication skills both Khmer and English
– Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
– Strategic person, insightful and logical person with good planning and leadership skills with high IQ

– Experience in a Japanese company

– Experience as senior / C-level staff
