Articulate and execute strategic plans in conjunction with ANZ Commercial strategy and business objectives.
Achieve revenue targets, cost management, cost of credit, client acquisition targets, liability and asset growth.
Ensure account strategies and structured call programs are developed and monitored.
Build the Commercial business by targeting growth clients within agreed focus segments.
Research and implement business initiatives to drive continuous improvement i.e. industry segmentation analysis, targeted marketing campaigns.
Align and collaborate with Risk, Marketing, product partners and other stakeholders.
Conduct regular analysis on the business to understand how it may be impacted by the risk and market environment and where it is benchmarked against
Hire, train, coach and develop a strong team of well-rounded relationship managers adept at origination, cross-sell and risk management.
Develop next level of managers by empowerment, regular feedback and exposure to experiences and senior managers.
Self and team adherence to regulatory and ANZ credit policies and processes regarding approval, reporting and documentation.
Imbed systems and training to ensure pipeline maintenance, capturing of early alerts and no failed audits or overdue reviews throughout the team.
Proven experience in a business related field.
Well-rounded experience of banking and knowledge of global best practices, in- depth understanding of the local market, and experience in managing medium to large teams.
Knowledge and experience in credit analysis, commercial lending and corporate wealth management.
Prior Profit and Loss management and control of business experience.
Proven sales and relationship management experience particularly with the SME and mid-size corporate clients based onshore and offshore.
Ability to think broadly and interpret business strategies into meaningful actions for your teams.
